Smith E. Howland, General Manager
Working closely with Joel, Smith oversees corporate governance issues, Market Intelligence, and is President of Bigler Petrochemical LP. Prior to joining Bigler, he was President and CEO of Nisseki Chemical Texas, a Japanese specialty chemical producer. Prior to that, Vice President of the Phenol and Related Business Group for Aristech Chemical. Smith holds degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Business Administration. He also owns and operates a 900-acre corn and soybean farm in Ohio.
