Bigler acquires BP Amoco’s Linear Alpha Olefins facility.
Bigler, LP completed its acquisition of the BP Amoco Linear Alpha Olefins plant site. This plant is located within the Ethyl/Albemarle site on the south side of the Houston Ship Channel just inside Beltway 8 between Chevron Phillips and Georgia Gulf. The purchase includes roughly 90 acres of land, assignment of the BP Title V Air Permit, existing BP LAO process equipment, and logistical assets including 550,000 barrels of liquid storage, a sphere, pipeline, barge, rail, and truck infrastructure.
